Behind the camera — RWS, Rajadamnern Stadium

Backflip moment filmed by @sepo.gonzalez

Every fighter has a story.

Every week I'm in the corner with a camera. Before the fight, during it, after it.

I see what the crowd doesn't. The weight cut. The quiet in the changing room. Hands getting wrapped while the stadium gets loud. The tears after — win or lose.

Nobody becomes a fighter by accident. It costs years of training, injuries, money sent home, time away from family. Most people only see the knockout.

I started Corner Approved to tell the stories behind the gloves, because every one of them deserves to be heard.

My message to the world this year: look behind the gloves. Back the people who give everything. That's how we make it a little better.— @therealmartinla, founder

Gloves for the
next generation.

We drove to a village gym in Isan and handed out gloves, pads and gear to the kids who train there every day.

Kids from a village gym in Isan holding their new gloves and pads, with their trainers

In Isan, many fighters start as kids. A good fight can pay a family's bills, cover school, or put food on the table. Training on worn-out, borrowed gloves makes that path harder and less safe.

New gear means safer training, better technique, and a fair shot. When one kid makes it, the whole family moves forward — and the generation after them grows up with more choices.

Thank you, Bulls Sports.

For donating the Muay Thai gear we handed out to the kids in Isan. You made this day happen.

One dollar goes
a long way here.

It's tough out here. Food, school, clothes, a safe place to train — small things change what a kid's future looks like.
